Should be a good race with a mixture of conditions on the card, nothing much on the cards for the main guys wonders if we could see a few surprises down the field as they try to scramble for every point possible.

Let's hope for not too much rain (i.e. another Canada)...

Yeah, Nico or (can't believe I'm saying this) Schumi... Or even better. Bruno Senna.
Nobody noticed in his final Q2 run yesterday he was 0.005 up on Vettel at the end of S1? Brundle and Coulthard certainly didn't...

It's not meant to rain until the afternoon anyway. All I ask is that it's not so wet that we have an SC start, or the SC comes out because of the rain (though obviously if it was anything like Canada this year, you could understand it if the track was being flooded).

I pray for a dry race, I do not want to see the safety car today. If it so much as drizzles at the start, it's an SC start and Vettel is gifted 2-3 second lead.
No rain at all forecasted for Congonhas Airport, about 10km north of the track. At least not before 7pm LT. They do however expect wind coming from south and 10km is quite some distance.
Going to nip off to bed in an hour or so, get a little sleep in before the race (I'll go back to bed straight after you see

). Hoping for a fun race, Mark to barge into the first corner and give Vettel lessons on how to overtake with balls, Senna to pull off Awesomeness and get a podium. And Vitaly too just because I like him.
...I'm so tired.

Doesn't mean anything. We're still 5 hours away from the start, and cloud will gradually build, with rain likely to appear like it did yesterday, ie bubbling up, so I doubt it'll be a case of being able to look at a radar and say "oh there's nothing on the radar for 100 miles" as a shower may bubble up 3 miles away out of nowhere.

Down from 100% chances reported yesterday. By the time the race commences, the probability of rain could dip below 50%, or so I hope...

Struggling to find radar, but look at this, the location is east of the circuit :

While we're waiting for the race to start, it's unbelievable to think that the incredible 2008 race was already 3 years ago and Schumi's last race (or so we thought) was a full half-decade ago!
Enjoy that glorious sunny day celebrating Schumi, Massa and Ferrari and let's hope for a great race for our boys again today:

Ian Fergusson saying it'll be the usual Interlagos setup, where storms are certainly possibly, but predicting where and when is impossible. Could get some drizzle, some light rain, storms, or could be bone dry all race long. Impossible to tell.

I also have a feeling it'll be a dry race, either that or so wet it gets red flagged/safety car for a million laps. Infact from what I've seen of wet races this year, I hope it's a dry race, it would be unfortunate to have the safety car ruin the final race of the season. They don't run in the wet anymore. The Pirelli wet tyres are rubbish, the drivers don't/can't drive in the wet anymore, they might aswell go NASCAR and ban wet running entirely.
Don't want a dry race; it will be a 70-lap RB/Vettel fest. Our only hope remains a wet race (not monsoon but enough to make the track slippery).

Interlagos is tricky when it rains, because theres so many dips so water will park in corners. Especially turn 3. Was it 2003 when someone nearly hit the crane that was getting another car out of there?
