Should be a great race with this car thrown into the continuation of the Manthey Porsche vs. Audi battle, with the Merc SLS GT3 added for good measure.

It's great that there will be so many great sports cars at this race.

I hope that any of you that go to the race will stop by our garage to say hello!

We'll also be bringing our Ferrari P 3/4 0846 which raced at the Ring in 66 for some parade laps and display in our garage.

Hopefully the Porsche Hyrid and GT2 BMWs are back as well. Hope to see some further Corvette presence (as seen in VLN) also. It's going to be a great battle.

If they don't get stampeded by the tens of thousands of people who invade the pitlane and the track before the race. Even seeing that on the live stream which the organisers have been providing for the last couple of years was shocking... you just can't expect that amount of people.

Although some parts of the audience might be more depleted than normal, since they've moved the race two weeks after Le Mans.

We probably won't see the 911 GT3-R hybrid back... but Porsche will bring something to replace it.

Is there any chance the car or/and the P4/5 could be on display at the Le Mans 24h?

There's always a display of supercars at the downtown parade and at the track, with 200.000+ race fans there it would be perfect publicity for the project and for the Nurburgring 24h which is only 2 weeks after the race in La Sarthe this year.

Also it's not that the ACO didn't notice what you guys are doing.

We had a Great Time!

It was really great to see so many of you and to experience the feelings of the crowd towards the car first hand.

We qualified 28 (went out on wrong tires, intermediates instead of rain, and by the time the track dried it was too late)

We moved up over 7 laps to 14th. We made up three positions in the turns but lost a LOT on the straights.

Our VMAX was 260KPH the MB and Porsches 285KPH. Unless we get less restriction it will be very hard for us.

The pits were a bit crowded and we overheated which caused mechanical engine failure.
Small oil fire ensued but no big deal.

We'll put in a radiator fan for pit stops and we'll be good to go for our next race.

We may run again in end of April as an additional race.

Even if it isn't, I'm pretty sure there's a few spares lying around at Michelotto (or they can build a new engine).

P.S. Hankook Farnbacher will be bringing their GTE Ferrari 458 Italia to the Nurburgring 24h as well this year... unless they ding it badly at Le Mans two weeks prior to this race. So at least two Ferraris in the big race. Dominik Farnbacher confirmed the team's presence at the 24h in an interview on Radio Le Mans at Paul Ricard last weekend.
