Doubt he's acting alone if that is truly the case... then again any where he can draw money to pay creditors would be greatly appreciated by the courts/vendors that owed funds..

Ho ho ho, that's assuming that's his intention. I'm not holding my breath. The NC Department of Labor Investigator was told by USF1's lawyer that it has "no assets and no money." This would seem to contradict that assertion (as we all knew---they could sell off everything and pay off the employees and some of the creditors but aren't doing that).

Anderson and Stefanovich have been trying to come to some agreement. One wonders how far that agreement has gone

They tried, but it didn't work. Apparently Anderson and Winsor refused to let go of their racing licence because they seemed to think that they could still make it. Maybe not in 2011, but I gather they were trying to hold on to it and enter in 2011. They didn't want to see their dream of an American team die, which is ironic because neither they nor their drivers were American.

By no means do I mean any disrespect towards any persons involved but I do think they have already had a PR disaster.

If you're annoyed with something not enough English there, let them know: http://stefangp.com/contact.htm

I've offered to proof and rewrite the web site for them (I did the same last time, but got no reply.)

QUOTE
To me the website is enough English, and I can't proof read it as English isn't my native language

But that's the point; the site is clearly proofed by someone who does not have a great grasp of written English; why? It's lazy, unprofessional and says the wrong thing straight away.

Some top down guys never learn. They will NEVER learn, perhaps, so better forget the option you eyes?

You identify no-one on it, and this picture would be available for you for editorial usage from agencies, so you can't have proof the usage of the image is illegal.

Running it through the tineye website, gets me to a larger version of it.

(Article about Jenson Button)

On the Stefan site, the bottom of the image with the 'copyright xpb.cc / F1News.ru' has been cropped out.

That's your conception, may be true, but there's no proof of illegal usage.

The image is available for editorial usage, directly or non-directly from XPB. You can acquire it and use it on your website.

The usage of the image is only unprofessional, in the eyes of those who identify it a McLaren image. Regardless of the origin, it's used only for illustration, not claimed to be a victory picture of SGP.

Funny they have to use pictures of other peoples cars when they've got those Toyotas sitting around.

No they don't. Toyota backed out.

Well, good luck to them then. smile.gif

Some new (at least new to me) pictures of the Toyota/Stefan chassis there.

Another Pitpass story about Stefan GP - makes USF1 management look competent and trustworthy.

http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_new...es_art_id=40601

Amongst other things their source told them "The 'equipment and spares' which were sent to Bahrain and Malaysia was "basically a box of folding chairs and office tables". roflmao.gif

But what’s more interesting is the photo that appears on the right hand of the page. Identified as “The Stefan GP Team” it shows team owner Zoran Stefanovic with two engineers. It should be mentioned that it is a photos that has been Photoshopped to remove Mike Coughlan.

They left a small portion of Coughlin's elbow gives Stefanovic a little something to be proud of.

So there you go.

Most teams start development of their next years car the year before sometimes even the year before that if the regs are clear and lets remember that a 2010 car isn't so far removed from 2009 car so most likely Toyota, the biggest of the big buck runners, did have at least a prototype and full build schedule in place.

But hey, some very important poster in a forum hasn't seen it so I guess it can't be then.

I have no doubt in my mind that Toyota themselves had a 2010 car that was well on its way. I have no doubt that JV sat in that Toyota car, and talked with the crew over in Cologne. What I do have some doubt about is whether STEFAN ever had those cars, and whether he physically had appropriated them and sent them to Bahrain (or had someone else send them, it doesn't matter).

I believe that Toyota had a 2010 car, and that it could have been good. I don't believe that Stefan physically got his hands on the 2010 cars and sent them to Bahrain like he claimed. Reports say that the containers are...somewhere. Who in the name of all that is holy allows a container of prototype F1 cars to go missing? Particularly ones that they claimed they would be testing throughout the season in preparation for 2011?

Anyway cheapracer, I hope that cleared up the reason for my doubt. It was, in my mind, a valid reason from a poster of undoubted significance and importance.
