STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN
stevvy1986
Expecting rain sometime around 4pm, but apparently the rain is moving faster than first predicted..........we'll just have to wait and see I guess.
stevvy1986
Green flag. Kurt Busch leads lap 1.
stevvy1986
JJ leading already.
wewantourdarbyback
Caution out no way for the 66 to get down to the pits.
stevvy1986
Kurt Busch passes JJ after getting caught in traffic. Caution out, Blaney hits the wall, and can't find a gap to get down onto pit road.
Birdsboro

stevvy1986

Sorry I went on a date and I got back about 45 laps in.

He says he thinks the splitter is hitting the ground into 1...it hasn't hit the ground all weekend but now in the race it's hitting
OfficeLinebacker
Oh and he was worried about damage from contact with the 12 but nothing visible.

BP just told him brakes are glowing slightly.

Brian said The right front had a small nickel size blister on it. Juan said he's not surprised given how tight they are. Brian said try to take care of it and they'll try to free it up some more.

Tab reports the 14 came down and said thanks for working with them. They'll be doing that all day. smile.gif

Just find a girl with a 42 tattooed on the top of her ass.

It's okay and you are forgiven. Just don't plan your other life, like dating and well eating and such, so it collides with NASCAR races ;)

We need your comments here.

I have NASCAR on TV, live timing on computer and your race thread open every time. Greatly appreciated!
wewantourdarbyback
Biffle to the lead.

Caution out for rain.
Risil
They put coke down on the pit boxes at Bristol? Could swear Jonpollak had an anecdote about that once. Possibly from right back in the days of the Long Beach GP.
stevvy1986
Caution out, rain falling. Thought I'd seen a couple of drops on the camera a lap or 2 ago.

Coke syrup. And some teams put it for the crew, not for the tyres!

The brakes can talk? Awesome, I want to see proof though.

The announcers commented that the teams used to use chemicals for traction, but NASCAR decided if it can't go in your body, it can't go on pit lane, so they use the coke syrup now.

I also got my timings wrong, I thought the race would start at 6:13pm our time, I guess it started at 5:13pm (an hour ago)

And then we saw a pit box where the ground was stained with sticky stuff only around the car where the crews' feet go, not where the tyres go. Interesting!

Scroll back in the thread for more info...I was on a date and came late. I, for one, will never make the mistake of putting personal romantic desires ahead of the needs of my Autosport Forum brethren.

JPM getting the better of McMurray again then.

OfficeLinebacker
Montoya past JJ for P2!
OfficeLinebacker
Montoya is catching Biffle faster then he was catching JJ! Go Juanny!

BP: Just don't kill that RF tyre, dude.
