Holy crap, does that 48 have KERS? Looks like he had a massive HP advantage to blow past Stewart on the outside.

Nope, just 4 fresh tires.
Phucaigh
I'm happy for Jimmie that he got his Bristol win.
OfficeLinebacker
Wow his burnout up the ramp, around the corner, and into victory lane was impressive. Amazing car control!
Tenmantaylor
The pundits were saying there werent enough laps left for 4 fresh tyres to pay off... JJ put there mics in their mouths nicely for them!
senna da silva
50th win for JJ. He just drove past everyone at the restart. Shame for Juan. Smart drives by Brad and Carl.
Dispenser89
Great win for JJ and great gamble for Roush, all his cars in the top 7.

LOL, Mike Joy was the only one to say they had the advantage.
Phucaigh
JJ can start a grandfather clock business when he finishes NASCAR.

What does this have to do with today's race?

It's better than most of the trophies in US sports, odious blinged-up monstrosities for 1970s comedians.

Oh just the comment by the commentators that its Martinsville next week and JJ has won 5 of the last 7 races there.

Other news....not a great day for my fantasy league team....

Grandfather Clocks are Martinsville, not Bristol.

He could add to his collection next week. lol.gif

I was going to say that but figured I'd ask first, and whaddya know, he was referring to something the commentators said about next week.

;)

So I just want to mention that my fantasy team took a bad beating today and I'm tired of watching Montoya have bad luck.

Also, I think the racing was as clean as it's ever been at Bristol. The outcome of NASCAR's decision was that the drivers were very, VERY courteous of each other. The only thing I was thinking might happen (and was hoping for a bit TBH) was Logano dumping Harvick. Or Hamlin or someone else dumping Crashalotski. But he ended up doing a great job racing people clean and so did Edwards.

Ever since they repaved Bristol, the racing has improved significantly. The only downside (if it is one), is that it isn't as "Crash-y" as it used to be since you can overtake on the outside. So much less impatient bumping these days.

I dont know about you but watching 2 cars run side by side for 70 laps is pretty borring too me.
I wouldnt be surprised if Bristol doesnt sell out soon. What people loved it gone.

Work rarely stops me, but at times you gotta do what you gotta do. And back on the topic of the fantasy league, I'm humbled to be leading this distinguished group, and even more humbled that, hard as I'm working to pick the best drivers each week, evidently 86% of the participants Yahoo-wide are doing a better job.

Well, I have one...
I married a Sicilian, and it was the annual family day to make Easter Bread.
Miss that and I am risking my life...

I agree that the magic is gone. The new Bristol may be a much better track, but it ain't no Bristol.
