Fairthorpe Electron Minors were a club racing sports car of choice for many entusiasts in the late 1950s and 1960s, with Tirumph 948 and 1147cc engines, but I cannot find any international competition history (race or rally) for these Triumph engined cars (a Climax engined Electron competed in the 1959 and 1962 Monte Carlo rallies). Can anyone help pin a period event down please? Thanks smile.gif

I seem to remember Tony Bostock building one in a series of monthly articles in 'Car Mechanics' magazine ( he was editor) in the early 1960s.

Try www.fairthorpescc.com. This is the web site for the Fairthorpe Electron Sports Car Club. Neat cars. Brought back a lot of memories.

Good luck,
