I find employees of BBC commenting on F1 totally outrages.
Talking too much, McLaren bias, still running in old inch-system while rest of us run in metric, and finally their propensity to pass judgement over racing incidents on public waves without having any facts in hand. Just waste of my money I pay to TV provider whilst being stuck with those people. Go away, all of you, please.

Did anyone notice at the start of the Forum, when DC was talking to Gary Paffet, EJ say "Oh, David's just frightened of the three lady drivers in DTM blowing him off!"?

I thought that there are more british teams in F1, not just McLaren. In second instance, BBC sells the program to more than just to domestic audiences. Accepting money, say from Canada, wouldn't that bind them into some more reasonable behaviour, or we are all suppose to like these two at Mclaren, especially when not even all brits like both equally?

Yeah, funnily enough, I don't think there is a Canadian team in F1.
It's the British Broadcasting Corporation. There's always going to be some level of focus on the drivers from the same country as the broadcaster. In Spain, it's about Alonso. In Germany, it's about Vettel and Schumacher. In Italy, it's about Ferrari. In Brazil, it's about Massa. In Japan, it's about Kobayashi.
And besides, if you are referring to the fact that the commentators are not talking about other British teams, it is probably because they weren't on TV much today. What are they supposed to do? Suddenly talk about Virgin when Hamilton and Button are fighting for the victory?

I don't know about anybody else but kind of getting sick of EJ continually going on about the Rosberg conspiracy i.e he has been given an inferior equipment etc. How many times are going to ask that question and do you really expect the team to answer any differently? Or is he just hoping they will slip up and admit to it due to his amazing interviewing skills!

Well, that's the first thing that came up as I was speechless. And, not that it actually matters, technically I am in England, but I'm not exactly one who represents it.
Going back to the topic, I actually think that for a British broadcaster, the BBC doesn't have a bias to any teams and they do a good job of being relatively neutral. Arguably, it might be actually said that if they did have a bias towards a team, it would be Red Bull. Or it could be that its just because they have greater access to the team, but maybe I'm mistaken at that.

I just caught up with the forum on iPlayer - and nearly crapped myself laughing at "blowing him off" exchange!
I've always felt that the Lee hate was a bit unfair as she nearly always gets the crap features, nice to see she can handle meatier situations as well. Her and Ted's investigations were brilliant, and moreover what they found out has emerged to be almost all correct. Great forum

I think DC has also really started to grow into the TV role this year, much less stiff than he was before. And it was interesting how opinionated he was over THAT incident, even urging Ted on in his investigations about the engine maps because he "might be onto something"...I really don't think he would have done that 12 months ago, nice to see that he doesn't always have to be the RBR man (I wonder how they felt about that though).

I think Anthony Davidson was the only one with any brains after watching the forum, Lewis Hamilton as good as spelt it out why he was subdued after the race he couldn't have dropped any bigger hints and none of them had a clue apart from Anthony. DC, Jake and Eddie just couldn't work it out. Having just been told to conserve fuel which is a command to slow down amongst other things Lewis suddenly see Jenson sail past him which must've been very disappointing. It must've seemed to him like Jenson's engineer trying to take advantage of the instruction given to Lewis by his engineer. Jake stupidly over-assumed a french accent when poor guy Boullier was only saying clear the sheet as in clean sheet but got accused of swearing on live TV.

It seems no matter how much us fanatical viewers complain the BBC won't give 2 sh*ts.
I thought Brundle was good today made it worthwhile during an exciting race but going from other people's comments it seems the 5Live commentary was off the hook. The BBC really need to sort out there 5live replays on iPlayer as more often than not, the program is cut off before the end. Several of the races this season have finished on iPlayer before race distance is up yet there can be 20+ mins of non F1 stuff at the beginning.
For example, The Turkish qualifying on iPlayer right now is a one hour program but the actual F1 doesn't start until over 24 mins into it and finishes while Q3 is not completed. Kind of a complete waste of time not hearing the outcome.

Yeah I had that last year when I missed several GPs and had to have the overlay the BBC1 coverage with 5 live, it cut short most of the time, particularly bad at Singapore which was is always a very long race, around 20 laps got cut off.
It's a shame because it would be an easy fix. If there's a limit, I'm sure people would rather cut the pre-race off than the actual race..
Anyway, I'm hoping the guys at the BBC will be kind enough to put yesterday's race on iPlayer. Would be pretty cheesed off if they don't

Ye that wasn't great with the wet races we've had that have been very long races. The commentary on iPlayer would end about 10-15 laps before the GP actually ended, which sucks because like you say the first bloody 30 mins is complete rubbish that doesn't even need to be on the iPlayer.
