Depnd how its done. I agree its not the ideal marriage of colours.
Also, silver seem to have become the new blue-and-white. McLaren will certainly run it, while Mercedes havesaid their cars will be Silver Arrows and so everyone is beliving that to mean they'll incorporate silver. Or at least PETRONAS turquiose/teal, which is close enough. And Campos have been said to be kicking the colour around, not to mention Red Bull, for whom silver is a corporate colours (but they don't run it and haven't done so for a while now). So with as many as four teams carrying it, why add a fifth?
If Total is going to be Renault's major sponsor for 2010, I wouldn't mind seeing them do something similar to Force India, but with Total colours: white car, with red and orange down one side and silver and pink down the other. I know that sounds like a hideous combination and on par with their ING liveries, but only two colours would actually be appearing on either side of the car and red/orange and blue/pink are both close enough together that they would work together.
