Nope. And with the insanely crappy GP2 Asia calendar going from October to February between races, he's not gonna get much opportunity to show what he's capable of, either.
I think its more likely we'll see him going into a competitive F3 series rather than GP2. Or maybe even F2 or WSBR. GP2 isn't a cheap series to join.

If USF1 takes him as a protegé (which is a posibility, as Peter Windsor showed his intrest in him), the decision could partially rest on them...

Possibly. I'm just not sure that USF1 has the kind of budget to have a driver development program that involves sticking kids into the $1 million+ series bracket that is GP2.

Not a bad move at all. A top-line GP3 drive has gotta be worth just as much as a mediocre seat in GP2.
Also gets him in the door with ART, which is never a bad place to be in if you desire to move up the categories.

Yea, but he's not proven at this level. He could prosper, or he could be mediocre. His recent results in GP2 Asia tell me he's good, but he might not be anything 'extra special'. Way too early to conclude that, I know, but thats where I'm at with Bianchi at this point. I'm sure my opinion will waver as the main GP2 season goes on.
But Barwa Addax have definitely figured something out with these new generation GP2 cars, and I think Perez is somewhat of an overlooked talent at this point. He's never really had a chance to shine in a top car, so he could definitely be one of the surprises this year.

It's about mechanical grip with hot weather.Grosjean explained his set up on his website. It doesn't fit to his driving style but it was very fast.
I think that Ocean and Super Nova will go down because of Rookies line-up.
Dams and arden will be better because of technical team reshuffle and their grip problem in my opinion should be solved with GP3 .

The Grip issues won't benefit from running in GP3 - totally different tyres. Pirelli in GP3, Bridgestone in GP2.
But I agree, Arden without Mick Cook showed in their first race weekend how much he'd been holding them back. I think iSport will be back on it this year. Turvey and Valsecchi are working well together. Bird at ART will become the new Premat and get completely overshadowed by his team-mate. But Bianchi is still rough around the edges. I'd say it's a pretty open championship.

Bird will be worse than Premar imo.
About GP3 it's more the rubber put on track, just see the performance from Dams when Formula BMW came alongside in GP week-end and without. The same for Arden.
Apart for Hungaroring which is a very high downforce track they've been better than normal.

Interesting choice of Arabadzhiev for Coloni. He might have upstaged fellow Bulgarian Sid the Sloth (Plamen Kralev supposedly means "Flame King" in Bulgarian; Sid the Sloth was "Fire King" in a totally pointless but very clever sequence in ICE AGE 2), but he didn't exactly set the world aflame.

Yes.
"It was a slow morning session in Le Castellet. An unstopping drizzle made the track conditions quite tricky for the drivers, and the teams had no other choice but to use wet tyres throughout the three-hour session, with the exception of Trident’s newest addition Johnny Cecotto who dared to try on slicks in the very last stages of the morning session as the track got a bit dryer. For one, look at the date of that post. So to answer, yes, I had seen all the races up to that point.
Further, I've seen every race since, as well. And I'm still at the same point with him. Could be great, could be disappointing.
To say he was 'poor' only makes me think you haven't seen these races.
I've also seen his races in F3 Euro last year(and the year before). How bout you?
Ok, tell me , which race he was good during GP2 Asia series? If you can not remember, check

And don't forget he was driving ART car. still not poor?

You're looking only at the results, pace-wise he definitely shown potential. Podium on the first race, fantastic drive through the field for the second race, pole position for the third race. Things went downhill afterwards as he crashed 3 times but it's okay for a driver that has just arrived at this level.
