This makes me SO happy! Having night races (or dusk) and not being able to see the glowing rotors made me angry. I would have even been ok with just banning them for the late-starting races!

I have no idea why there weren't banned last year on the grounds of safety. The X wings went pretty sharpesh - why not these terrible things?

The part I remember was that he claimed that Ferrari had some energy recovery system. You gotta hand it to Frans, he designed an advanced KERS. Ferrari should have hired him.
