Hamilton had a good season although Mclaren struggled to close the gap at the front. I see what you are saying but its always great to justify things in hindsight.

Perhaps he should have been diplomatic and say, they had the 2,5 best car

and for some reasons like mechanical failures, (strategy) errors or difficulties with intgroducing the EBD they where only 4& 5th at the WDC.

I think if Alonso or Ferrari reads this statement from Mr Goss....

And he's wrong anyway... everybody knows it was the fastest car in a straight line but it couldnt turn smoothly... and cornering is the most important thing in F1. I like Mr Goss but he "missed an opportunity to STFU" as Chirac once said.
