That's good news. Fortunately, Mercedes-Benz began digitizing its photo archive years ago, making access and downloading simple and quick via their media web site.

The Zoltan Glass photographs are superb. The Museum commissioned me to identify the individual motor racing negs way back when, and I spent 2-3 days there doing the job. Peter Richley subsequently captioned the many Motor Show and advertising negs in the Collection. Curiously enough, Audi had purchased the material and placed it in the Museum - apparently under the impression that many images of Auto Unions would be included. I think I found only two or three AU negs in the entire Collection - predictable really since Glass worked for Daimler-Benz. However, since then I understand that many more negs have been added. Dr Josef Ernst of Daimler-Benz has been up there quite frequently to keep abreast of developments.
