There is a rumour Alonso wants to start a cycling team with Spanish cyclist Contador (currently second in the tour de France). Banco Santander would be the main sponso. Why would Alonso do this? Doe she know anything about cycling or will he just be a media puppet for the team?
Dunno, but might be related to Santander also hooking up with Ferrari when Alonso comes on board next year.
But I'd certainly never read that Alonso had an interest in cycling.
With the testing ban I'd imagine these guys have a bit more time on their hands.
