Exactly that. It's too much money for such a position. As alleged, Bruno doesn't translates into cash, so the 1st and 3rd driver would pay for the team. That would be an odd situation in an environment with so restricted number of tests.
And they would compromise one driver, probably Bruno, without a proper Friday practice.
But better this way than no way.
