What about number of Spain companies, mostly from Murcia, which came to Campos just because they want to expand to brazilian market through Senna?

If there were any, there weren't enough to save the team from itself.

Good to see that (by the looks of it) this team will be at the start of the season. Was really looking forward to the Dallara cars. I rate them very high so looking forward to what they can do (with a tight budget though).

Isn't there any pic of the car or a computer draw out yet?
NightProwler
Im happy for Lopez if he gets this.

Id like to have seen him with a race seat but Campos test driver with drivnig on fridays is a pretty good deal.

Rumours are he will get some friday running

And I still don't see how it will be possible to be for the scrutineering in Bahrain.
And what other teams' reactions will be if they are granted a postponement. Especially the new teams who managed to get into the time schedule.

I'm sorry, but Hispania Racing sounds really, really stupid.

For the moment, they still into the time schedule.
Lets wait to see what Thursday reserves to us.

I know... another x*24h stated period for news.

Thanks for that. So we may see a purple and white car? That could look very smart if done properly, or terrible if done badly.

Also, Hispania Racing is a pants name for a team.

maybe they will use a red/yellow livery. But i agree a white/purple livery would be nice if done correctly.

It could be:
- Purple as in Grupo Hispania:
- Black as in the original idea (with no-typical logo on the side pod)
- Dark Red and yellow as in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia coat of arms (flag and also logo).
- Something totally unrelated.

That Hispania is already the Roman name for the Iberian Peninsula.

I don't really see any problem with the name Hispania.

Lopez's manager, McGough said there were news during an interview with the long program (Radio Belgrano): "This morning I spoke with Colin Kolles and he assured us that Lopez has already confirmed its place as a test driver and reserve "

Hispania is a word with a lot of history, so they must have no problem with pronunciation.

I don´t like the name, btw.

No need, but is the one of the easier ways to put a link to something over here.
And I don't think that is the best name anyway.

Sorry if it has been asked already.
Is that 'H' in front of Hispania pronounced?
AFAIK with my very limited knowledge about Spanish, 'h' at the beginning of a word and standing before a vowel is not pronounced.
Thanks.

I guess, thou McGough is saying he has no news about any of the sponsors walking away from the project, but I've heard that there would be some loses, not only because the terrible way they managed all of this but also because the sponsors were spècting to support a driver who was going to race. Anyway López doesn't need 8 million US dollars to take the reserve driver place as it is a cheaper seat.

Exactly that. It's too much money for such a position. As alleged, Bruno doesn't translates into cash, so the 1st and 3rd driver would pay for the team. That would be an odd situation in an environment with so restricted number of tests.
And they would compromise one driver, probably Bruno, without a proper Friday practice.

But better this way than no way.
