I found this on a genealogy forum - does anyone have any knowledge on this chap?
"Could anyone help me find any information on a Mr Birtwhistle - all I know is he was a racing car owner (driver?) and a millionaire - he was my aunt's father even though she was illegitimate her name was Dorothy Gwendoline Pidsley born 1912. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks" |

I have a suspicion that Dorothy Gwendoline Pidsley was English. Thanks for the mention of the Daimler chap. EDIT: Sorry, I found the post on a Gloucestershire message board. |
